Former NFL wide receiver and current NFL Network analyst Steve Smith Sr. has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) after being publicly accused of having an affair with a married woman associated with the Baltimore Ravens. The allegations were made by an X user, Tony Martinez, who claims that his wife, Nicole Martinez, met Smith while working for the Baltimore Ravens' "Marching Ravens" band.

Allegations Surface on Social Media
Late Friday night, Tony Martinez took to X to
directly call out Steve Smith Sr., writing:
“My wife works for the Marching Ravens @Ravens. She
met Steve Smith Sr. at work. Steve Smith has been fu*ng my
wife.** I got receipts, I got a lot more, homie.”
Martinez didn't stop there. He went on to post
screenshots of explicit messages allegedly exchanged between Smith and his
wife. Additionally, he shared a video confrontation in which he appears
to call Smith directly, accusing him of the affair. In the clip, a voice
resembling Smith’s is repeatedly heard saying, "I'm sorry."
However, it remains unclear if the voice truly belongs to the former NFL
star.
Martinez Plans to Divorce Wife Nicole Martinez
Martinez also provided background on his relationship,
stating that he and Nicole Martinez met on Tinder in 2020, unexpectedly
finding “love and friendship” before getting married and having a son
together. Following the scandal, Martinez made it clear that he intends
to divorce his wife, responding to commenters on X:
“For those saying divorce her. Yeah, no s***. For those
saying looks worse on me. I ain’t got nothing to lose.”
Accusations Extend to NFL Teams and Sponsors
Martinez further called out Smith’s former teams,
including the Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens, as well
as brands associated with the ex-NFL star, such as Yeti Coolers and TaylorMade.
He suggested that the affair may have started during Smith’s tenure with the
Ravens (2014–2016).
Steve Smith Sr. Has Yet to Respond
As of now, Steve Smith Sr. has not made any public
statement regarding the accusations. The NFL Network analyst has not
addressed the controversy on social media or in interviews.

the majority of his career with the Carolina Panthers before joining the
Baltimore Ravens for two seasons. He is known for his fiery
